Summary
Chris Jones has over twenty-five years experience in civil/structural engineering and has worked on projects in Australia, South Africa, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea. Besides a background in consulting engineering firms designing light and heavy industrial buildings, commercial, institutional, residential, refurbishment and heritage projects, etc., he also held position as specialist structural engineer for the City of Sydney, involved in policy formulation on structural and geotechnical certification, policy on temporary protective structures (including overhead protective structures, fences adjoining deep excavations, scaffolding & shoring). He also drafted an Earthquake Policy for the City.
